I received Kriya in 1972 at the SRF Mother Center. Lake Shrine was my spiritual home for many years and I was blessed to have served under the guidance and divine friendship of Brothers Dharmanandaji, Mokshanandaji, Anandamoyji and Turiyanandaji.
For the past 30 years I have resided very near the SRF Hidden Valley Ashram, attending the Escondido Meditation Center. My dear friend, fellow Kriyaban, and husband of 39 years left this earth plane in 2013. We had no children.
I've been taking small groups of SRF devotees to India twice a year since 2001. The environment of a small group of like-minded souls has many advantages for the devotee who wants a deep dive into Guruji’s India.
Experience and contacts matter a lot in India...and having coordinated and escorted over 40 reverential semi-private pilgrimages to Guruji's India, I’ve garnered what has proven to be a rare expertise and a cadre of Indian friends to share; providing a more smooth, intimate, and behind the scenes experience for the Quiet Heart pilgrim.
This year, 2021, will mark the beginning of a new eligibility requirement; I’ll only be accepting SRF/YSS Kriyabans. Also this year, in addition to the women-only groups I usually lead, I will start to offer new group opportunities for men only and couples only. The limit of 4 persons per group will continue. The groups will continue to be all-inclusive while in India so the devotees can be free of daily financial concerns while there. And, I will continue to provide my unique and extensive personalized preparation guidance prior to departure, and of course, attentive service throughout.
Aside from whatever shopping desires there are (Master loved a bargain!), the Quiet Heart pilgrimages are spiritually focused to support the devotee's effort to strengthen and pay homage to the Guru-disciple relationship, to enter the Quiet Heart, to abandon oneself to the Divine Romance, and to feel (perhaps once again) Mother India's embrace..... They are very much a journey of the heart.
